This class has given me the tools I need to use technology in my future classroom. I have been able to try new tools that I never would have been able to experience if it were not for this class. It has given me creative ways to use technology in my future classroom. At first I was a little uncomfortable with the idea of having to create a website, but after time it became super easy. I felt more comfortable showing my website to others. Its not a bad thing to be a little uncomfortable at times because in the end our students along with our selves can really benefit from the new technology.
Teachers who have the idea in their head that using technology in their classrooms is too hard for them really need to try taking this course. It is much easier than you think and it really makes the job of the teacher easier too. The main benefit of using technology in your classroom is that it engages your students. The students will be more interested and motivated to learn the material.
Using technology in the classroom is also a great way for teachers to communicate with parents. Making videos, and news letters are much easier to do with the help of some tools. I can’t wait to use the tools I gained from this course in my future classroom. I recommend that all future teachers take a course like this to set their fears of using technology at ease.
